The replacement battery fits perfectly for my Dell Inspiron 1545 15.6 inch screen. The battery worked right out of the packaging and lasts about 4-6 hours depending on much power is being used and the brightness setting of the screen. But usually lasts around five hours while watching movies, surfing the internet, and working on papers etc. Battery charges up and I have not had one problem with the battery at all. Charges and discharges normally, works perfectly well. The only thing is that since it is a 9 cell battery, this replacement battery sticks out about an inch in the back but does not interfere with anything. I really love this battery since I previously was using a 4 cell battery which only lasted about 2 hours maximum, this battery lasts about 3 times longer!
This battery is an absolute dream and I will definitely be buying another one in the future. All I can say is that I absolutely love this replacement battery and recommend to anyone who is looking for a longer lasting replacement battery. I highly recommend this to anyone who has a 4 or even 6 cell battery! Damn I love this battery.

I've only had this battery for about a month but it is light years better than the other one that I had. I was so upset when my battery died after only having my laptop a short while, but this one works great! Plus, it has a much longer work time than the one that came with the laptop (like 5 hours). The only thing I can think of to complain about is that it sticks out about an inch past the back of my laptop, which really isn't a big deal.
FYI: I have a DELL Inspiron 1545 and the battery is a X284G. Be sure that you look at your battery to make sure that this one will fit. I had to search around quite a bit to find one that was exactly like mine.
I teach online classes so I needed my new one pretty quickly and it got here on time so the shipping is fine.
So far so good!

I was looking for a replacement battery for my Dell Inspiron 1545 and this works perfectly. Package delivered on time and fit perfectly into my laptop. Battery life at usual usage is around 6 - 7 hours or more depending on what you are doing. I would definitely recommend this battery to anyone looking for a replacement battery for their Inspiron 1545.
